How Did You Remember?

September 11, 2007

I think we all remember where we were and what we were doing six years ago.  I was just beginning an all day clothing shoot.  Luckily for the shoot it was all pants and socks that day so no faces.  Our model was visibly shaking as she had just flown out of New York that morning and knew as we listened to the radio that she wouldn’t get home for a few days.

So today I went out and in the middle of my workshop, gave the Red Cross  some of my blood.  I do that from time to time.  Seemed appropriate.  Here’s a link to their site: Red Cross.  You can go there to find out where blood drives are happening in your community.  If you’ve never done it before, it’s not that bad, it really doesn’t hurt.  If you’re freaked out or get heebee jeebees thinking about it, just get over it.  You’ll be old someday and they’ll be constantly sticking you with needles, besides, it can be the difference between life and death for a person in need.
